Rafeira (translated as mutt) is a proudly independent brewery founded by two friends and beer enthusiasts with a grandfather’s cellar, brought back to life in 2016.
This beer’s magic lies in the unlikely combination of ingredients such as basil, chocolate mint and jasmine.
We paid homage, illustrated the sailor grandfather who inspired it all (who also happened to be a baker), and paired it with laid-back and playful lettering. Every beer has its own mutt as well as the story of its unique ingredient.

Rafeira’s brewers constantly test ingredients in small batches for selected clients in search of new flavours. We designed a one colour template for these labels that can be easily updated with the series number and ingredient and quickly printed.
