Rachador (Cleave) is an extension of a public sculpture by artist Hélder Folgado. The book documents the wicker in Camacha (Madeira) using hand-carved willow cleaves as portraits of the workers.

The cover has the texture of fine sand, contrasting with the sleek hot foil of the sculpture's silhouette and a printed list on the back works as an index of the workers' names.

Each spread highlights the owner and their unique cleave, while the caption moves with their location in the parish.
