“Creative Atlas – Contemporary Choreographic Creation” is a pedagogical-artistic intervention tool and the embodiment of a PhD thesis by the teacher and choreographer Madalena Xavier. The result is a work in progress to contribute to the development of dancers and contemporary creators in training contexts.
This toolset comprises 55 cards with questions and challenges divided by themes, a book of interviews with Portuguese choreographers and a notebook with training methodology. Connecting all pieces are motion inspired drawings, interpreting Madalena’s concepts.
